Emmanuel Christian High School (ECHS) has, for the last decade, been longing for its own home. Located at 680 Tower Street, Fergus, the beautiful historic school that was formerly used as Centre Wellington District High School will, the Lord willing, house ECHS's students in September 2016.
The building project has been coined "Project Eagle's Nest: building on our heritage." The Eagle has been the symbol of ECHS since its inception. It has long been considered a symbol of wisdom, courage and strength. Eagles fly high in the sky, soaring above everything else. These are all traits that ECHS hopes to instill in their students, encouraging them to dare to soar to new heights. The newly renovated school building will be a home for these students.
Project Eagle’s Nest is a wonderful opportunity for us all to work together. Standing shoulder to shoulder we invest in future generations. Building together binds together. We do this trusting the faithfulness of the LORD, who can do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Eph.3:20-21). Each generation should be able to experience this wonderful reality.

The restoration of the historic Fergus High School into the new location of Emmanuel Christian High School will ensure that this heritage building continues to enrich and educate a new generation of local students.
